Thread the free edge of the chinstrap into the rings (see figure 1).

Pull the end until the chinstrap presses firmly against the jaw.

Once this has been done, it should no longer be possible to pull the helmet off. Grip at the back

and rotate the helmet forwards to make sure the helmet does not come off, but remains firmly

in place on the head.

If the helmet tends to slip off or rotates freely on the head, tighten the chinstrap again until the

correct pressure is obtained then repeat the test.

If the fastening system cannot be effectively tightened even after repeating the test, avoid

using the helmet.

When the chinstrap is tightened correctly, fix the free end in place using the press stud on the

release tab (see figure 2).

The press stud fixes the free end of the chinstrap, avoiding it flapping while riding.

Fastening the stud does not guarantee that the helmet is worn and attached correctly. The correct

tightness of the chinstrap must be verified exclusively through the operations described in the

previous paragraphs.

To release the retention system, undo the press stud and slacken the tension by pulling the release

tab. Unthread the free edge of the chinstrap from the "D-rings".

Use the release tab to remove the helmet only! Never use the release tab while riding.

If the release system is not working correctly, do not use the helmet.

Tirer l’extrémité jusqu’à ce que la jugulaire repose fermement contre la mâchoire.

Une fois cette opération effectuée, le casque ne doit plus pouvoir se défaire; pour s’en assurer,

il suffit de le prendre par derrière, de le tourner en avant et de constater qu’il est impossible

d’enlever le casque qui reste bien fixé sur la tête.

Si le casque a tendance à se détacher ou qu’il tourne librement sur la tête, resserrer encore un

peu plus la jugulaire jusqu’à l’obtention de la bonne pression et répéter l’essai.

Si, après avoir répété l’essai, il est toujours impossible de serrer à fond le système de fixation,

mieux vaut alors s’abstenir de mettre le casque.

Seulement après avoir vérifié que la jugulaire est parfaitement tendue, fixer l’extrémité libre en

l’arrimant avec le bouton automatique sur la languette de déblocage (cf. figure 2).

Le bouton automatique sert uniquement à fixer l’extrémité libre de la jugulaire pour éviter

qu’elle ne pende durant la conduite. La fixation du bouton de déblocage ne signifie pas pour

autant que le casque a été enfilé et attaché correctement: seules les opérations décrites dans

les paragraphes précédents permettent de vérifier la bonne fixation de la jugulaire.

Pour détacher le système de fixation, défaire le bouton automatique et tirer la languette

de déblocage afin de desserrer l’étreinte. Dégager l’extrémité libre de la jugulaire des “anneaux

en D”.

N’utiliser la languette de déblocage que pour enlever le casque! Ne jamais actionner la

languette de déblocage durant la conduite.

En cas de mauvais fonctionnement du système de déblocage, s’abstenir de mettre le casque.
